Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist experienced in both CT and X-ray modalities, with ARRT (CT and R) certification and a strong background in adult and pediatric settings.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in CT and X-ray within outpatient and emergency department settings
  • Patient population includes adults, pediatrics, and occasional infants
  • Procedures include extremity, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, brain perfusion, CT angiography, and multiplanar reconstruction
  • Cardiac CT procedures such as pulmonary vein CT, cardiac calcium scores, and perfusion studies are included
  • Shift is Friday to Sunday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (3x12-hour day shifts)
  • Use of Siemens and Samsung X-ray equipment, portable units, PACS system, and EPIC EMR is required
  • May be required to float to other campuses within the health system as needed
  • Duties include performing a variety of CT and X-ray exams, including advanced cardiac and brain perfusion studies
  • Team members may float to any campus within the health system as determined by staffing needs
  • First-time travelers are accepted for this assignment
  • All candidates must complete required modules during orientation
  • RTO (requested time off) must be declared at the time of application; changes are not permitted after submission
  • Candidates must have education verified by a third-party evaluation to be considered
  • No open background check cases are accepted
  • Scrub or dress code details not specified; follow standard radiology department protocol

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in both CT and X-ray required
  • Current ARRT certification in CT and R required
  • BLS certification required
  • Proficiency in starting IVs, with an average of 8-9 IVs per day
  • Outpatient and emergency department experience required
  • PACS and Siemens experience required; Samsung X-ray preferred
  • EPIC EMR experience required
  • Experience with adults and pediatrics required; experience with infants preferred
  • License required if applicable
  • Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no locals accepted
