As part of our continued commitment to excellence, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences is seeking an Online Programs Coordinator, Sr to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our strategic goals. The School of Government & Public Policy (SGPP) in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) is seeking applications for a Program Coordinator, Senior to support the management of student programming for undergraduate and graduate students in our AZ Online campus, which currently includes a BA Law, BA Political Science, BS Public Affairs, MA International Security Studies and Certificate, and Master of Public Administration. The undergraduate online programs consist of about 500 students and 200 in our graduate programs. Duties & Responsibilities Graduate Coordination Activities: Coordinate graduate student admission process to include processing applications, communication with applicants, GradApp system management. Monitor students' status, including course enrollment, leaves of absence, GradPath forms, and graduation requirements, and assist students as necessary. Provide academic support and advice to students in the programs, including student degree monitoring, timeline adherence, and addressing student needs. Execute all administrative tasks associated with Online Graduate Programs. Coordinate graduate student events such as recruitment, information sessions, and orientations. Collaborate with AZ Online, Career Services, Graduate College, SBS Enrollment Counselors, and other university offices to ensure smooth operations of online programs. Additional duties as assigned. Curriculum & Enrollment Responsibilities: Maintain and update the schedule of classes, in coordination with program coordinators, to include all new courses. Monitor student status, class enrollments, majors, enrollment trends, provide program directors requested data reports. Support Director of Undergraduate Studies and Program Directors as well as participate in related committees (in School and across campus). Marketing Support & Student Outreach Responsibilities: Create and distribute program-wide communications with current/potential students via D2L, social media, SGPP websites, and newsletters. Initiate and monitor program marketing needs and coordinate new outreach opportunities that encourage program growth. Respond to queries from current and prospective students and be able to provide academic, program, and other UA policy information. Contribute to SGPP student-centered events (e.g. Student recruitment, invited speakers, professional development opportunities, program informational sessions, award ceremonies, graduation, etc.). Assist with events for online undergraduate students, as requested/invited. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent time management and analytical problem-solving skills. Be a self-starter with proactive, professional communication skills. Ability to take initiative for tasks with little oversight and work well in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of University student-related policies and procedures is encouraged. Skills in developing and maintaining positive working relationships. Knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite, Qualtrics, UAccess Student and Analytics, GradPath, GradApp, and Slate. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in public admin, higher education, management, or related fields. 3 or more years of Higher Ed experience with student programming. Experience with web design and/or online marketing.
