QUALIFICATIONS:
Staff/Facility
Technical Proficiency : Contractor's medical supply technicians to be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the government's requirements, including the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently. The contractor shall provide documents upon request from the CO/COR to verify current and ongoing competency, skills, and certification related to the provision of services performed.
The contractor shall provide verifiable evidence of all educational and training experiences
including any gaps in educational history for all Contractor's medical supply technicians.
Contractor's MSTs shall be responsible for abiding by the Facility's Medical Staff By -Laws, rules, and regulations (referenced herein) that govern the medical staff behavior.
Two Shifts to include: 0700 AM-0330 PM; 0300PM - 1130PM.
Contract personnel shall be available and present during normal VACCHCS hours, which will be established and may be revised as deemed appropriate for safe patient care. Currently, normal operating hours are twenty-four hours per day for 5 days per week. Based on requirements and history, the schedule shifts will be 8 hours. Employees will receive their schedule 2-4 weeks in advance. This can change due to patient care needs.
A. Off-hours Coverage : Contractors will not be on call.
B. Length of shifts : There will be two different 8-hour shifts.
C. Holidays and Overtime : There will be no holiday or overtime scheduled or authorized for payment.
Clinical Personnel Required : The Contractor shall provide Contractor's medical supply technicians who are competent, qualified per this performance work statement and adequately trained to perform assigned duties.
Standards of Care: The Contractor's MST care shall cover the range of MSTs as would be provided in a state-of-the-art health care facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding current recognized national standards.
