We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Upon arrival, Veterans will have already filed their claims, and all relevant medical records will be conveniently uploaded into a computer portal for your review during the appointment.
In this role, you will perform the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. Your assessments will contribute to completing a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, providing essential medical evidence that aids the VA in determining the veteran's benefits.
Please note that as an Audiologist in this capacity, you will not be prescribing any medical treatments or devices.
You can expect to review and assess an average of 3-6 Veterans per day.
Schedule: Part-Time, 2-3 days/week
This is an IN-PERSON position where you will spend 1 hour to 1 hour & 30 minutes per patient. Enjoy a balanced work life with no evenings, no on-call requirements, no weekends, and no hearing aid sales.
