Job Title: Set-Up & Tear-Down for Homeschool Enrichment

Location: Legacy Chapel, 8140 S Holly Street,Centennial , CO

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt, hourly

Reports to: Dean of Home School Enrichment

Work Hours/Days: Approximately 2.5 hours/week (See details below)

Rate: $20/hour

Position Summary:

Responsible for the weekly set-up and tear-down of Ascent Homeschool classrooms as outlined

below. This person will communicate regularly with Dean and ensure a collaborative

relationship with church and shared spaces.

Schedule & Essential Tasks:

Late Sunday Evening or Early Monday Morning

• Set-up music room and chapel room for Monday classes
• Approximately 30 minutes of work

Late Tuesday Evening or Early Wednesday Morning

• Set-up walls, tables and chairs for two classes in fellowship hall
• Set-up extra chairs for family tours
• Set up chapel room for class
• Set-up music room for class
• Set-up signs and walls to prepare for Wednesday classes
• Approximately 1 hour of work

Thursday After School

• Tear down walls, tables and chairs in fellowship hall
• Tear down tables and chairs in chapel room
• Take out trash and ensure building is ready for the weekend
• Approximately 1 hour of work

Occasional School Events

• Additional set-up for all-school events such as Grandparents breakfast, Shakespeare

festival, fine arts night, etc

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to take responsibility for being on time and maintaining attendance as an essential part of job performance
• Commitment to the policies, mission, and vision of Ascent Classical Academy Charter Schools of Colorado

• Commitment to high moral character necessary to sustain ordered liberty and constitutional self-government
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and always maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Willingness to perform other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and supervise students for extended periods
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
