Job Description

*Job Summary*
Be part of something big! Mark IV Enterprises seeks a qualified electrician with experience in new construction to work on one of our newest projects in Pittsford. _***This is a 4-6 month position***_

*Duties*

* Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards
* Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues
* Work on both low and high voltage systems as required by project specifications
* Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions
* Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with local regulations and safety standards

*Skills*

* Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or commercial electrical work
* Experience with installation, assembly, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices, following electrical layout drawings and building permits
* Vocational or technical training in electrical installation and maintenance preferred
* Strong understanding of low voltage and high voltage systems
* Preferred safety training; OSHA 10 hour, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout for safe installation and work practices
* Experience in new residential construction
* Attention to detail in all tasks performed
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to work with minimal supervision
* Understand and follow OSHA requirements
* Valid NYS driver’s license and own transportation

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
