This position is responsible for tasks supporting the procurement of information technology hardware, software, and support systems for BITS and across division boundaries. The role includes supporting IT acquisition decision-making and negotiations, coordinating, monitoring, and leading procurement and license tracking and compliance for IT acquisitions. Additionally, the position maintains the BITS hardware and software licensing inventory and leads the annual review, maintenance, and compliance process. Hardware/Software: Provides acquisition support for hardware, software, and maintenance in the technical environment (servers and desktops) and application development environment. Additional Comments: This role involves interaction with BITS management and staff, division customers, and external entities such as other state agencies and vendors. Effective communication with diverse customer knowledge levels and the ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines are essential.
