ESCO, representing consumer package goods (CPG) and EURPAC STRATEGIC PARTNERS (ESP), focusing on the Adult Beverage industry, is seeking a part-time Base Manager in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Area Manager (AM) will determine the specific responsibilities for the Base Manager at each facility. Responsibilities can include:

SCOPE:

Exchange locations on U.S. military bases as defined by the Area Manager.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete daily tasks at Exchange locations, which may include: Maintaining proper call frequency Selling and ensuring proper shelf placement of authorized items Filling store shelves with back-stock Securing display activity and building displays Scanning for missing items and obtaining distribution Conducting inventory checks and writing orders Meeting with store managers as scheduled Shelf management, resets, pricing, coupons, and POG compliance Checking code dates and proper rotation Communicating issues to the AM promptly Selling promotions and building displays Placing Point of Sale materials Reporting stock issues to Facility Manager Completing call reports via technology Other projects as assigned Demonstrations: Conducting in-store retail demonstrations, including alcohol beverages Understanding brand messages and engaging consumers professionally Managing setup, breakdown, and follow-up for demos The ideal candidate will be engaging, knowledgeable about brands, able to work independently, and manage their schedule. Flexibility is required. Candidates must be 21 or older. Working Conditions: Lifting racks up to 100 lbs with assistance Building displays with cases up to 40 lbs Working in freezers at 0°F Occasional outside sales and weekend events Pay is $18/hour for 9 hours/week. Availability during store hours is necessary. Retail or grocery experience is helpful. Candidates need access to a computer, printer, and smartphone, and must be able to download information from websites. Preference is given to candidates without current employment with competitors and those with existing military base access, which is required for the role.
