Vector Fleet Management is seeking an Automotive/Medium-Heavy Truck Mechanic, Class A to join our team in the Riverview, FL area. If you have at least two years of p roven Automotive or Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Class A experience or have graduated from a Trade School for Mechanics , Vector Fleet Management wants to hear from you! CDL “A or B” is REQUIRED!

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• CDL is REQUIRED
• Automotive/Medium-Heavy Truck Mechanic will perform PMI's on all types of powered equipment
• Be familiar with all major components and functions to include power unit, drive train, suspension, hydraulics, electrical, etc.
• Perform diagnostics and selected repairs on equipment involving the summary of components and systems stated above
• Will occasionally be responsible for fueling duties as a backup for mobile fuelers
• Test drive all types of vehicles
• Automotive/Medium-Heavy Truck Mechanic will train and assist other mechanics in all areas
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work area and environment. Including but not limited to cleaning shop equipment, floors, and fluid containment areas
• Must possess adequate hand tools required to perform routine repairs and maintenance
• Technical education in a related discipline with experience, or on the job experience that includes performing service and repair on vehicles and/or equipment components and systems summarized above is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and pass drug test and background check.
