Audiologist - Veteran Disability Assessments

We are seeking a dedicated Audiologist to join our team in performing crucial medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this rewarding role, you will review Veterans' medical records, conduct assessments including the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete the essential Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to help determine eligibility for VA benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
• Accurately document findings and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) , not by the provider.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday (8:30 AM - 4:30 PM).
• Location: In-person role.
• Caseload: 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

Requirements:

• Holds an Au.D. and has graduated from an ASHA Accredited School .
• Possesses a current license as an Audiologist .
• Comfortable utilizing technology for reviewing records and completing documentation.
